Terms & Conditions for Renting
If you decide to move to a different location, it is acknowledged that full-size cribs are difficult to move in your car. It is recommended that you make transfer arrangements by contacting your local provider. Your order confirmation email will provide a phone number for your local provider. If you damage a crib attempting to relocate it yourself you will be responsible for any damages that occur.
Delivery Procedure
For all deliveries and pick-ups of baby equipment, a 2 to 3 hour time frame is required with deliveries to the airport the only exception. It is the client's obligation to ensure that someone is either at the location during that time window or that we have access after a chosen time window for delivery and pick up is confirmed. There will be an attempt to reschedule with an extra delivery cost if no one is accessible at the location during your selected delivery or pick-up time windows or we cannot access the equipment. It is the clients' responsibility to notify the property management that they have hired a baby equipment rental company to deliver and pick up the equipment from the property if the destination is a rental property. Additional fees may be charged if property management is not informed of the rental, which results in a delay in pick-up, delivery, or product loss. Additional fees might be charged if we are unable to access your property because you failed to alert the guard gate or failed to submit the gate code, which caused a delay.
The aforementioned details are particularly crucial to keep in mind if you choose a porch pick up and delivery on your reservation form. Please make sure that all equipment is stored in a hidden location, behind a fence, or in the back yard as the tenant is still liable for lost or stolen things from a porch even after check-out.
Delivery and pick-up for hotel guests typically take place from the hotel bell closet. The equipment must be tagged and put back into the bell closet at the time designated for pick-up, which is the renter's responsibility. DO NOT leave your room's equipment behind when you check out. If equipment is not left at the bell closet for return and our staff has to spend too much time looking for it, there will be an additional fee. Please make sure all equipment is marked with your name at check-out as the renter is still liable for missing belongings in a hotel even after check-out is over. Also, we advise obtaining the identity of the bellhop or other hotel employee to whom you return the device.
Planned Modifications
Changes to delivery or pick-up timings made within 24 hours are subject to scheduling availability and may incur a cost for the schedule change.
Be aware that all items are subject to a 3-day rate. Although you can reserve an item for just 1 or 2 nights, a 3 night fee will be charged. Orders that are only booked for 1 or 2 nights are limited to 3 items.
Goods Lost, Stolen, or Damaged
High chairs are the only exception. All rental equipment from At the Beach Baby and Beach Gear Rentals, LLC is subject to a no-food-or-drink policy (water is OK). Strollers provided by At the Beach Baby and Beach Gear Rentals, LLC are subject to a no-sand policy (strolling the boardwalk on the beach is OK but no strolling in the sand or putting children and or personal items with sand in strollers). Stroller wagons are permitted in the sand. The renter acknowledges that the items must be returned in the same condition as when they were delivered or At the Beach Baby and Beach Gear Rentals, LLC may charge the credit card on file for any cleaning expenses. Please help us keep the equipment sanitized and secure for our upcoming little visitor.
Rental equipment is subject to loss or theft, and the renter undertakes to cover the cost of any necessary replacements. Items must be returned with all components and accessories complete and in good functioning condition. Outside of normal wear and tear, the renter is responsible for paying to repair or replace any extra damage to the equipment. Loss, theft, repair, or replacement-related extra costs will be charged to the credit card on file. Keep in mind that At the Beach Baby and Beach Gear Rentals, LLC will give the renter 72 hours to contact the facility they visited in order to try to recover the lost item in the case that it is lost at a hotel, vehicle rental company, rental property, or other sort of delivery and pick up destination. The At the Beach Baby and Beach Gear Rentals, LLC is not obligated to make an effort to locate misplaced equipment at the customer's location. If the item is not picked up after 72 hours, the cost of the item will be charged to the card on file. Additional delivery fees can apply if there are any more trips needed to retrieve the equipment.
Early Terminations & Cancellations
It is acknowledged that travel schedules can alter. Any orders that are canceled after 3 calendar days of the delivery date will incur a $25 processing fee. Within three calendar days of the delivery date, orders that are canceled will be charged 50% of the original order total or the minimum order total for the region, whichever is higher. There are no refunds for early returns.
While renting baby equipment, safety and sanitation are the main priorities. All Items are current and comply with all applicable federal safety regulations. Items are examined and updated when necessary, keeping in mind how the baby sector is evolving. Please visit the Consumer Products Safety Commission at www.cpsc.gov for more information on product safety. Before delivery, all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Placement of a car seat
Sorry, but we are unable to install car seats for you. The majority of the time, car seats themselves have instructions for installation printed on the sides. If you would like a digital copy of the installation manual please request it before your delivery.
